We are one of the most impactful startups in plant-based food ingredients manufacturing, producing plant-based proteins and food ingredients 29x faster than regular crops, meanwhile utilizing generous volumes of CO2. We come across as a “Technology Integrator” coming with our proprietary microalgae strains with advanced & differentiating functional & physical properties, of our (products) plant-based proteins. We also are well known for our engineering and R&D activities in protein extraction and purification and already hold a Seal of Excellence from the European Commission, along with our CO2 utilization patents.

Driven by the Global Protein Challenge, Solmeyea operates in the plant-based protein market, valued at $295B. Using our IP-protected hybrid vertical farming technology, we produce carbon neutral microalgae protein-ingredients that are increasingly sought by FMCG manufacturers as they move away from conventionally-grown proteins. Solmeyea's end-products consist of a range of high-quality protein isolates and oils, rich in Omega-3’s, fatty-acids and antioxidants.

Our new (1,100m2) pre-industrial development (located in Athens Greece) is part of our recently awarded (entrepreneurial) Grant from the "EIT" (European Institute of Innovation & Technology) along with our B2C plant-based food end-products manufacturers.

Solmeyea’s business plan is linked to innovative ESG criteria & SDGs values and will increase its sustainability and competitiveness throughout Europe, providing food ingredients with the lowest ever environmental footprint, in terms of Carbon, Water & Land.

Solmeyea, is running an imminent investment plan of €2,500.000 for the 2023 and is about to close its €2,0M fund-raising round to scale its production capacity by 50x, to 35 tons of dry biomass/year, and grow further its developed partnerships and pre-sales agreements with food manufacturers across Europe & the US.

 

Hooked


​​​​​​We are one of the most ambitious startups in plant-based seafood globally, one of the big bets in food tech market, estimated to be worth €16B by 2030. We develop, market, and distribute delicious, healthy plant-based seafood to both food service and grocery.

Hooked Foods is experiencing exceptionally large early market traction with key retailers in Sweden: ICA, Coop, Hemköp, 7eleven and MatHem. Although being on the market with products for less than 12 months, our SKUs are already among the best rotating in the category. We also have a number of confirmed Foodservice partners.

We have already started international expansion by signing distributor agreements for DACH, Iceland and UK markets and our first product Toonish is currently being test launched in Iceland. 
We have strong inhouse R&D team, know-how & lab with pending patents for scalable high moisture extrusion recipes and for next generation 3D-printed fillet structure.

Our outsourced European production with capacity of 110 mt/week to has scalability from day 1 and keeps flexibility for other technologies. We closed €4.2M in funding mid-2021 with selected credible and impact-driven investors Raising 10M€ closing October 2022 to accelerate expansion to European markets.

Le Papondu


Le Papondu offers the first plant-based eggs! This substitute is suitable for people suffering from an egg allergy and for people on a vegan diet or wishing to limit their consumption of animal products. It can replace the egg in many recipes (cakes, quiches, pies, etc.) and can also be cooked on its own like in scrambled eggs.

ITC - Innovation Technology Cluster Murska Sobota (ITC) is a non-profit Business Support Organisation located in the North-Eastern part of Slovenia, bordering Austria, Hungary, and Croatia.
